Mystery in the Metaverse

 a suspenseful novel

My review

Mystery at the Metaverse is a gripping thriller novel by Nick Airus
that explores the dark side of the metaverse, a virtual world where
anything is possible.

Airus does a masterful job of creating a believable and immersive
metaverse world. The novel is full of vivid descriptions of the metaverse's
landscapes, characters, and technologies. Airus also explores the ethical
and social implications of the metaverse in a thoughtful way.

The mystery itself is well-crafted and suspenseful. Airus keeps the reader
guessing until the very end. The characters are also well-developed and relatable.

Overall, Mystery at the Metaverse is a highly recommended read for fans of
thrillers, science fiction, and the metaverse. It's a fast-paced and suspenseful
novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

Here are some of the things I liked about the novel:

* The metaverse world is well-created and believable.
* The mystery is well-crafted and suspenseful.
* The characters are well-developed and relatable.
* The novel explores the ethical and social implications of the
metaverse in a thoughtful way.

I would recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys thrillers, science
fiction, or the metaverse. Therefore I give without any doubts a 5 star rating.

The Book: Murder City - review

 a lot of suspense

My Review

I enjoyed reading the book Murder City written by Dan Martin very much.
From the book cover, the location of the story, the characters and the story
itself, everything was well thought and well written.

I'm not sure this is a young adult book due to some violent scenes. However
it's a wonderful mystery with lots of suspense.

I recommend the book to everyone who likes to read an exciting story.

Of course, I give without any doubt a 5 star rating for this fantastic writing.

It's always nice to get to know the author of the book a bit better.
That's the short biography of Dan Martin.

About the author

Dan Martin provides novels and short stories that feature complex
characters and archetypes that will resonate with readers from a
wide back ground of interests.

Wilderness settings are frequently featured in Dan's work. They are
places he has known and terrain he has explored. He grew up in a
family of guides and outfitters in Northern Alberta and worked several
years as a field officer with Alberta Forestry Lands and Wildlife.

Dan is a semi-retired psychotherapist. Characters in his novels are
often a projection of personalities he has known during many years
of counselling offenders, people with personality disorders, victims
of abuse and oppression, or simply those dealing with life
adjustment issues.

Thank you very much for this excellent reading chance Booktasters and
the author as well. All they wanted is my honest review, which I did.

The Game With no Name

 A lot of suspense!

My review

It's a very good point, I didn't realise this book is part of a series. But since I've
read "The Game With No Name", I defenitely wanted to read more books of the
series.

I liked the cover very much, as well as the plot and the family. There is a lot
of suspense and even a twist.

I would recommend this book for all who like to read adventurous stories.

Without a doubt I give "The Game With No Name" a 5 star rating.

The author

LG Cunningham loves to write scary, spine-chilling, monster filled, ‘
my-child-is-not-able-to-sleep’ stories. This term of endearment could
be as a result of growing up in an Irish town filled with ghosts, being
able to communicate with (and actually see) the dead or more than
likely because his family used to rent him horror movies (pre-Netflix
and pre-DVDs) when he was very little which had the affect of twisting
his brain to the extent that he was - and still is - afraid of his own shadow.

Booktasters

I thank Booktasters and the author for giving me a free copy of the ebook
in exchange to my honest review. This has not affected my opinion.

The Game With No Name was published on August 23rd. 2020 and contains
142 pages.

Bookreview: Manopoly!?

 Manopoly!?

"A splendid mix of suspense and drama"

written by James Philip "Phil" Jones

Summary

Jackson Reynolds and Beau Benoit are two men with unknown pasts. Jackson
hires Brooke Benoit as his university assistant, Brooke is Beau's sister. Beau
is a Harvard MBA that begins in the private sector on Wall Street. He quickly
moves up into the Federal Reserve. Jackson and Brooke work to develop
Jackson's dream, to alter the game of Monopoly into a real time predictor
of any micro or macro economy. Beau's position at the Fed creates the
opening to move the MANOPOLY Project into the mainstream federal government.

Bad actors within the university are nefariously connected with the Iranian
government. They plant a bug in the project. Once discovered, an
international trail of espionage ensues. As the story unfolds,
it is discovered that the events in the Middle East have become
very intertwined with the project. This event pits the NSA and the
CIA against the IRGC and the Quds Force fighting to control the
information. The top actors in this drama are President Trump and
The Supreme Leader of Iran who are directly involved. The actions
escalate until international assassination is sanctioned. The assassination
is answered by a retaliatory strike considered by the civilized world
to be a war crime.

Jackson and Beau both find love and happiness in a story of human
achievement and redemption. Follow them on their journeys of personal
discovery and growth. All while creating a world of very believable
business espionage, political suspense, and technological innovation
that will run long through future novels. This story is pulled right from
today's headlines and will keep you on the edge of your seat.

My Review

Can a board game change the world? I was immediately into the
novel and the characters were described very well! Sometimes I
even was thinking: is this history or is this fiction? It's full with
suspense and drama.

To conclude, it is a good book and very easy to read, and I wanted
to know the end. So I give the book a 5 star rating!
