The Soul of a Shoemaker

 "What a fantastic story"

My review

The Soul of a Shoemaker, written by Susan Cork is a fantastic and personal book
about her grandfather.

Soul of a Shoemaker" is a compelling and moving memoir that sheds light
on a lesser-known chapter of history through the lens of one family's experience.
Susan Cork’s heartfelt and detailed writing makes it an unforgettable read that
honours the enduring strength of the human spirit.

"Soul of a Shoemaker" stands out for its emotional resonance, vivid storytelling,
historical depth, and inspiring message, making it a rewarding read for those
interested in personal memoirs and historical narratives.

Without any doubt I give a 5 star rating for this fantastic story!

Hare Halfway and the Book of Everything

"super relatable story"

👉 Hare Halfway and the Book of Everything is also written in Dutch
under the title: Haas Halfweg en het Boek van Alles.

My review

Hare Halfway and the Book of Everything is a wonderful, super relatable
story. It was written very clear and fluently. Meanwhile it let you think and
I absolutely wanted to know how the story ended.

The paintings and the cover page were created by Evelien van Landeghem.
I enjoyed it very much.

Anyway, Hare Halfway and the Book of Everything is amazingly written
and can be read by all of us.

Without any doubt, I give a 5 star rating for this wonderful book!

The author

Hare Halfway and the Book of Everything was written by Marc Terreur,
which is a colleague of mine. Nevertheless this hasn't influenced my opinion.

Besides writing, Marc Terreur is a Belgian luthier and guitar tech with a
solid reputation built on three decades of experience and dedication.
He has clients from Belgium and the Netherlands, but also from Canada
and the USA. His custom-built guitars have received highly praised reviews.

In the 1990s, he was a freelance contributor to the Belgian music
magazines Stage and MeetMusic. In this capacity, he wrote instrument
and amp reviews and did a series on acoustics (the science).

Apart from the above, Marc Terreur is also a musician, a songwriter,
and ... a writer of children's books. Get to know Hare Halfway and
Bookie Bear, and soon also Flory Nightingale—maybe even
Little Verity Firefly.

Hare Halfway and the Book of Everything is available on Amazon.
It contains 45 pages.
