Bookreview: Downtime Shift

 A nice science fiction story!

Summary

From her hiding place in Downtime, Evelyn Marcin risks her fugity
anonymity for a curious glimpse of the next shift.

What she witnesses sparks a chain of events a journey that could
decide humanity's fate.

Helped by mysterious allies she unpics her old reality, uncovering the
self-interested manipulations of her superiors - and the real origin and purpose
of the echo loop.

Questioning their motives and beliefs though, she must also question
her own.

Her place in history is unwanted, inescapable and inevitable - like the
choice that has fallen to her.

My review

The book cover looked very colourful and promising so I wanted to
read this science fiction story.

I  really loved the concept and the idea of the book, however
I do like structured stories very much, due to
the time traveling from the 21st. till the 19th. century it wasn't always
clear.

I would recommend this book to science fiction fans and I give it
a 4 star rating.
