Slay Bells Ring: The Rise of the Banner Elk Slayers

An enjoyable read

My review

Due to work and some travels I read a christmas horror book with delay in
February.

However, I enjoyed it very much. It was written very well with a good sense
of humor.

Did I say the characters were great too?

Normally I don't like horror themed stories, but this one was a fantastic read.
So, without a doubt I give 5 stars for this book.

Ps. Although it is a Christmas themed book, don't hesitate to read it during
other periods of the year!

Jirvania: Book 2 in the Julu series

"What a beautiful book!"

My review

The 2nd book I read this year was a fantasy story with the title Jirvania. This
beautiful book was written by Jan Anderegg and published on May 9th. 2021.
It contains 506 pages in the Kindle edition. So, it took a while for reading and
reviewing, but it was worth every minute I spent for this book.

While reading I always make some notes. These were the notes I wrote down,
while reading Jirvania:

- The story is full of adventure, romance, and self-discovery, keeping readers
hooked from beginning to end.

- The author's vivid prose brings the fantastical world of Jirvania to life,
transporting readers to a realm filled with magic and mystery.

- The characters are complex, relatable, and well-grounded, making
them easy to root for and connect with. I really enjoyed reading about the
adventures of Jack and Julu.

Overall, Jirvania is a well-crafted and entertaining novel that offers a
captivating story, immersive world-building, well-developed characters,
and a heartwarming message. It is a must-read for fans of fantasy literature

A single Spark written by Tayvia Pierce

 very good book

My review

A Single Spark by Tayvia Pierce is a well-written and engaging fantasy
novel that follows the story of Lady Carys, an overlooked and gossiped-about
member of an aristocratic family. When her family is forced to flee their land
after rumors of murder and corruption plague them, Carys finds herself at the
center of a storm that is even bigger than what they've been through before.

Pierce does a masterful job of world-building, creating a fantasy world that
feels both familiar and unique. The characters are complex and believable, and
the plot is full of twists and turns that will keep readers guessing until the very end.

One of the things I loved most about A Single Spark is the way Pierce
explores the themes of family, loyalty, and forgiveness. Carys is a complex and
relatable protagonist, and her journey to self-discovery is one that many readers
will be able to connect with.

Overall, A Single Spark is an excellent start to what promises to be an
exciting and engaging fantasy series. I highly recommend it to fans of epic
fantasy, family drama, and suspenseful fiction.

Without any doubts, I give a 5 star rating and I hope to read more books from
this wonderful author.

 A good read

My review

Due to the interesting topic, addiction, I wanted to read this book very detailed.
Meanwhile I had lots of emotions: sadness and joy because of the two different
stories. I missed a bit of the depth of the book, on the other hand I liked
the simplicity.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the topic.

It was a bit difficult to rate this book well, so in doubt between 4 and 5 stars,

Music was Erica’s first language; a mirror reflecting her soul.
As the rhythm unfolds, it unravels her heart and unleashes her dreams.
Sadly, Erica lost her singing voice to a tragic illness. Exiled from her
passion, she was left craving catharsis. Song after song, story after
story, photo after photo, visions of Erosia came to life. It became
clear that Erica is more than a musician. She is a vessel through
which passion emerges. Through her whisper, she led her band,
Erosian Exile – but as her vocal cords deteriorated, writing became
her new voice. Her fantasy series, Night Gem, reveals the origins of Erosia.
